Gelay Jamtsho
As a kid Gelay always wondered what was beyond that mountain. Having trekked all over Bhutan, now he knows the answer. His interests, which range from U2 to M.C. Escher’s art to digital photography, has made him lead many first time trips to Bhutan.
Self taught in computers, he gives free classes on internet technology and computer graphics at VAST, a non profit organization dealing with kids. He is also an energetic social worker, campaigning against substance abuse. A devout Buddhist, his gentle character and wisdom make him a hugely popular guide in Bhutan.
