About Us
Keys to Bhutan, founded by two childhood friends Anan and Gelay. They entered into the travel industry as a part time guide during their school vacation to earn some pocket money. In 1999 after their graduation as expected it was nothing surprising when 99% graduates would join the government service happily making their parents PROUD!!! The two adventurous and energetic buddies took a different step and opened their own travel company with one computer in a small room but with a big dream. Finally ten years later, Keys to Bhutan is now one of the most prominent and a well established high end company in Bhutan tourism Industry.
Gelay, an inborn computer guru and a keen photographer. He ultimately turned out to be one of the best photographers in the country. Due to his high demand, he now works for the His Majesty media office. During his free time he enjoys working in Voluntary Art Studio (VAST), Thimphu. As a computer guru, he manages the company’s website and advices the company in the world of IT……
Anan, a restless globe trotter having circled around the globe again and again. Finally having found the princess of his dream, now he mostly stays in Thimphu managing the company. As a photographer he leads most of the photography trips.
Keys to Bhutan, is now backed up by team of young energetic professionals. We have more than 50 years of collective experience in this industry and being with the clients. We have managed to build a network of invaluable friends and connections; we are a local every where we go. Be it on the road, trekking in the mountains or in the city we are personally with them guiding and with us it does not take anything for us to be flexible. We do not wait for the permission we are the mobile office too.

Keys to Bhutan is registered with the Tourism Council of Bhutan, Royal Government of Bhutan, and is an active member of the Association of Bhutanese Tour Operators. Our head office is based in Thimphu, with an outlet in Paro (airport town).
