My guide Dichen karma chosen was the best! Never had so much fun with a guide before. She was informative fun helpful kind understanding patient and at parts a super woman during the Bumdra hike where she carried a lot of stuff for us. Would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone. Also our driver Jimmy was the sweetest and kindest person understood our needs and was very comfortable riding with him. Ty for a wonderful memorable trip in the kingdom of happiness!!Posted on TripadvisorVerified An Unforgettable Tiger’s Nest Experience with Dechen Karma Choden and Jigme We had an incredible experience on the Tiger’s Nest trek in Bhutan, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Dechen Karma Choden, and our driver, Jigme. Dechen was truly exceptional from start to finish. She brought deep knowledge of Bhutanese culture, history, and spirituality, and shared it in a way that made the entire journey feel meaningful rather than just a hike. She paced the trek perfectly- knowing exactly when to encourage us, when to slow down, and when to let us simply take in the breathtaking surroundings. Her calm presence and genuine care for our comfort and safety made a challenging trek feel completely manageable. Reaching Tiger’s Nest felt even more special because of the stories and context she shared along the way. Jigme was equally outstanding. He was punctual, reliable, and an incredibly skilled driver on the winding mountain roads. We always felt safe in his care, and he greeted every day with a warm smile and quiet professionalism. After long trekking days, it was a relief to know we were in such capable hands for the drives. Together, Dechen and Jigme made the entire experience seamless, enriching, and memorable. Big thanks to Keys to Bhutan for handling all the planning so smoothly—permits, hotels, transport, everything was sorted without us having to stress. Our guide Karma made a huge difference. Super chill, very knowledgeable but never overwhelming. She shared a lot about Bhutanese culture and daily life in a very natural way, and also made sure we were comfortable the whole time. We covered Thimphu, Paro, and Punakha—each place had its own vibe. Paro felt calm and scenic, Thimphu had a bit more buzz, and Punakha was just insanely beautiful. Overall, really well-organized trip with good people. Would definitely recommend going with them if you’re planning Bhutan.Posted on TripadvisorVerified Bhutan's four seasons in 6 days We recently completed a 6 day journey through Bhutan, exploring Thimphu, Punakha, and Paro. As father-daughter travelers from India celebrating dads birthday in peaceful Bhutan couldnt be a better destination. To our surprise wr got to experience all four seasons in one trip - snow, rain, sunshine, and spring... Snowfall was the cherry on top :) A huge shoutout to our incredible driver, Sherab, and tour guide, Dorji, from Keys of Bhutan. Their warmth, knowledge, and welcoming nature made our trip so special. They went above and beyond to customize our itinerary as permissible and shared insights into Bhutan's history and culture. In general the hospitality and kindness of the Bhutanese people left a lasting impression. As for the food, we loved the local cuisine and our stays at Terma linca in Thimphu (riverfront location, amazing staff and food!) and Tashi Namgay in Paro (convenient, cozy resort). RKPO grren in Punakha was not that great though. We loved exploring Bhutan's historic sites, fortresses, and getting up close with the Takin ( never heard of the animal before). The art and cultural experiences were mesmerizing. We'll definitely return to Bhutan. All my comments from my 2023 tour are still relevant. Keys to Bhutan plus guide Dorji and driver Sangay offered spectacular service. When I return to Bhutan I will definitely be using the services of Keys to Bhutan and will want Dorji and Sangay as guide and driver. I am a photography workshop tour leader visiting destinations worldwide. During October 2023 I led a group of 9 friends in a tour through Bhutan. This was my second visit to Bhutan, and the second time I have used the services of Keys to Bhutan Travel Company. Mr Anan Gurung the founder and CEO of Keys to Bhutan and I had many emails going backwards and forwards during the planning of this tour and he was always patient, attentive and generous with suggestions and comments. Anan assigned Dorji Gyaltshen as our guide and Kinzang Ihendup as our driver, and both were excellent at their respective roles. Nothing was too much for them and they were welcoming, kind, friendly, helpful and patient with the group. Dorji speaks English fluently and has an encyclopedic knowledge about anything to do with Bhutan, whether it is history, culture, flora or fauna. His sense of humour was an added attribute. Kinzang was always alert and we all felt safe with him driving. At the end of each day’s driving he would unload all the heavy luggage without complaint. Anan unexpectedly upgraded our accommodations for the final three days in Paro to a 4 star hotel. He also met and sponsored a farewell dinner for the group at a charming farmhouse on the outskirts of Paro. This rating is specifically for the vendor Keys to Bhutan. Their coordinator person Mr. Dawa Sherpa was not communicating properly and we faced lot of issues during immigration. Even the guide which he provided left us at the immigration office. We were stuck there for almost 3 hours with no network but thanks to our driver Mr. Chhile who arranged a guide there itself so that we can complete the formalities and leave for Thimphu. As per the itinerary, we were also promised a complimentary sim card, which was not provided by the Keys to Bhutan team. However, apart from the above hiccups The overall trip of Bhutan was very good. But I do not recommend Keys to Bhutan as a trip coordinator.
