Reservation Policy

The Bhutanese tourism industry is founded on sustainability ensuring tourism is environmentally responsible, culturally respectful, and economically viable. Guided by the national policy of High Value, Low Volume, the following reservation policies apply.

Payment Terms

  • Credit card facilities are not available in Bhutan.
  • No credit is extended under any circumstances.
  • 50% payment is required to confirm the booking.
  • The remaining balance must be paid at least one month prior to arrival.

Children Policy

  • Children on discounted rates are not counted in group size.
  • Children under 5 years: Complimentary.
  • Children under 12 years: 50% discount on SDF (valid school ID required).

Trekking Policy

  • Travel insurance is mandatory for high-altitude treks.
  • Insurance details must be submitted prior to arrival.
  • Trekking routes are approved by the Tourism Council of Bhutan.
  • No liability is accepted for incomplete treks or trail conditions.
  • Guests must pay for all scheduled trekking days, even if the trek ends early.

  • Itineraries are subject to hotel availability.
  • Changes to confirmed itineraries are not permitted.
  • Additional charges apply for any requested modifications.
  • Personal belongings are carried at the guests own risk.

Liability Statement

As a licensed operator under the Tourism Council of Bhutan and a member of the Association of Bhutanese Tour Operators (ABTO), the company assumes responsibility for providing services in accordance with national tourism standards. Compensation or refunds will be provided in cases of verified substandard service.
